ROADWAY BRIDGES

Stog offers type 30 ST to 130 ST expansion joints for roadway bridges, with reinforced substructures due to the higher dynamic loads. These are used to absorb and compensate for bridge movements between the superstructure and the abutment.

  • Watertight joint constructions with reinforced, surface-flush expansion mat without steel components (reduced noise).
  • Full elastomer profiles, reinforced with steel
  • CR/SBR material (vulcanised, not extruded)
  • Require no maintenance

Concrete bridges
These expansion joint constructions are particularly well-suited for use in noise-sensitive applications thanks to their enclosed and flush-fitting design. The additional side-welded steel angles protect the expansion mat against excessive wheel impact.
